Privacy policy
Flattop does not collect anything. There is no account, no server, and no analytics.
What is stored, and where
Your recipes, shopping list, pantry and store choice are written to your device's local storage by the app. They never leave the device. Nobody else can read them, including the developer.
What leaves your device
Nothing, with two exceptions that you start yourself:
- If you tap share, your operating system's share sheet opens and you choose where the text goes. The app hands the text to the OS and nothing else.
- If a future version is configured with an import endpoint, tapping “Try it” on a link would send that link to that endpoint. In this version that field is disabled and no network request is made.
Third parties
None. No advertising SDKs, no crash reporting, no attribution, no tracking. The app requests two permissions and uses both: keeping the screen awake while you cook, and the vibration that confirms a tap and a finished timer.
Children
Flattop does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
Deleting your data
Delete the app. Everything goes with it. There is no server copy, so there is nothing to request and nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
Changes to this policy
If this ever changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a future version collects anything at all, it will say so here before it does.
